How are currencies converted?

Atom Finance’s APIs currently offer coverage of securities traded in the U.S., Canada, and Brazil. When comparing securities that are traded in the same market, we use the reporting and trading currencies for that market (i.e., CAD for Canadian companies and USD for U.S. companies). When comparing across markets, all data is converted to USD in order to compare companies directly.
